Thank you for visiting my website. Let me tell you a little about myself. While I have never formally studied music, I have sung choral music for many years. I started singing in church at the age of four and continued singing throughout my life. I have always enjoyed singing, in particular, the “old” hymns, hymns that were routinely sung during worship services when I was young. There is something about the “oldies” that folks really enjoy. That is evident by the “joyful noise” congregations make when singing these favorite hymns.
I retired a few years ago and came to the realization that I needed to better utilize my new found free time. Because of my love of the hymns I sang in my youth, and because I would like to think there is a place in today’s worship environment for them, I decided to try my hand at arranging.
There are many small churches, churches with a few folks who volunteer to sing every Sunday during their worship service. They are not necessarily trained voices, but people who want to sing praises to our Lord. These are the churches I am targeting with my arrangements. I am trying to do music that is familiar to everyone as well as music that is fun to sing. On the following pages you will find a collection of hymns I have arranged. I have both piano and choral arrangements. I hope you enjoy them. Be sure to check back. I will be adding new arrangements as I complete them.
Feel free to download these PDF and MP3 files for non-commercial and home use. For other uses of my arrangements and original (coming soon) compositions, please ask for permission.
Please let me know what you think of my arrangements. I welcome your thoughts. By the way, any personal information you enter on the comment page is used only to respond back to you, if you request a response. Your information is never given or sold to anyone else.
